After death , the spirit is still alive! But the body hasn’t decomposed, it becomes invisible, intangible soul. Being used pretend ghost to scare people to rule with a ghost, intimidation, confusion humanity. Because it will scare people, most of the ghosts have been designed to look terrible. Ghost's ability to do everything everywhere all-knowing Some ghosts like gods, to know all things, to do all things, human control, to rule the world. Can only waft everywhere, there is no capacity, no skills, waiting for reincarnation. Because of the less of science power, so there are still many things can’t explain.
Each country has their own view of ghosts, for example: Western countries have a vampire devil, it was the East State of Cthulhu, or zombie like they are the same in form, but because different parts of the cultural background, have The difference between them. In the West the story, giving the vampire image has the power to have all his wealth, zombie nature of the East with the Vampire as a matter of fact, they were not showing the kind of feeling. Zombie land just inside the body of inhalation of blood will be on the way the West did not like the color and imagination.Just like talking about, the type of ghost points out to be the reason why it appears in different cultural backgrounds and therefore have differences
The Chinese nation is a nation of ghost speak, as early as two years ago, Confucius that "Respect our spirits and far" indicates that Chinese people are ghosts. We also will be used to "ghost" and "soul" in the merger call that ghosts are the soul after death in the cause, so that every Middle Purdue, placed offerings on the large reception was hosted by the ghost of the parties. But the science is still unable to confirm the existence of ghosts and so far, all the instruments are not really detect any movement or the ghost of supernatural phenomena.
I research the information from internet, and some report about ghost, someone’s article describe the beyond common sense.I find the thesis to fill with my curious, and know more about the ghost and scientific phenomena. The focus of this article is to open the mystery of ghosts.

It's a ghost story. From http://www.castleofspirits.com/stories08/bluelady.html

The title is "blue lady"

I think it good.

"I remember it was a warm night, the night I saw her.
I was sleeping at my auntie’s house because my parents were out of town for the week. After my usual routine of brushing my teeth and getting ready for bed, I bid my auntie good night and tried to fall asleep. After receiving no such luck at sleep, I left my room for a glass of water in the kitchen. As I past through the lounge I found it very strange that the television should be left on with no one watching it, my auntie never left any unneeded electricity on saying it was a waste of money and power. I went to the remote to turn it off but before I even had the remote in my hand it suddenly turned off, all by itself. Shaking it off, I told myself that there was something wrong with the television or the electricity. I got my drink and hurried off back to my bed.
After lying there for a while I noticed that the temperature was dropping rapidly soon causing me to breath out a cold mist. I then felt as if someone was watching me, I gazed around searching for the thing gawking at me but was confused when I found nothing and no one there. After a while of still feeling its gaze I covered my head with the covers hoping that if it could not see me it would get board and go away. I then felt some one pull the covers off me, and with surprise I saw a lady wearing a blue dress standing at my door watching me. I was so frightened that I began crying and ran as fast as I could to my auntie’s bed room. I spent the night there and refused to go back to my room. That happened when I was 5 years old, I am now 22 years of age and when ever I go into that room alone I feel some one’s gaze locked on me even though I am by myself."

We can know from this story about ghosts on the cognitive.

The Doctor and the Ghost
retold by
S. E. Schlosser

Little Simeon came running into the surgery. He bent over, winded, and gasped desperately several times before he could speak.

"Doc. Doc! My paw got strychnine poison in his thumb. We amputated it right away, but the poison is still moving up his arm. You gotta come quick!"

The doctor grabbed his medical bag and hustled out the door immediately. It took but a moment to saddle the mare, and he swung the boy up in front of him and galloped out of the yard and down the road towards the Houd place, which was two miles away.

Simeon the elder was lying on his bed being attended by his wives and a large number of his children.

"Doctor, you must help me," Simeon gasped, waving the stump of his thumb at the doctor. "The strychnine is up to my shoulder. If it gets in my vitals, I will die."

His wives started wailing, and all the children echoed them so there was a tremendous noise in the room. The doctor held up his hands and shouted: "Be assured my sisters and brothers, that God has sent me in good time to cure Brother Simeon. With my Thomsonian medicines to aid his recovery, Brother Simeon will soon be well."

His words calmed the family. After repeated reassurances, Simeon's wives bustled out of the room followed by the children, leaving the doctor room to work. As the doctor treated Simeon with the first dose of medicine, he could smell dinner being prepared and hear the voices of Simeon's children doing their homework around the kitchen table.

When the doctor descended the stairs, Simeon's wives came out of the kitchen, and asked him to stay to dinner. He declined regretfully, having other patients to see that evening. But before he left he gave them careful instructions on the care of Simeon, and told them he would be by tomorrow to give Simeon another dose of the special tonics.

The doctor visited Simeon every morning and night for four days, giving him a thorough case of Thomsonian medicines each visit. By the fourth day, Simeon was so much better that the doctor determined that the poison had been checked. Deciding that no more treatment was necessary, he declared Simeon well and went home, well satisfied with the successful recovery of his patient.

Two nights later, the doctor was awakened from a deep sleep by a bright light shining right in his eyes. He sat up quickly, shading his eyes. At first he thought that he had overslept. But the light was not coming from the window. As his eyes adjusted to the brilliance, he saw a woman dressed in white standing at the foot of the bed. She was surrounded by a heavenly light, and she glowed within as well. The doctor gasped in fear and huddled underneath his bedclothes.

"Do not be afraid," the spirit said in a kind voice. The doctor took heart at her words. He withdrew his head from the covers and looked right at the glowing woman.

"I have been sent to you from the other world," the woman said.

"Who are you?" The doctor asked.

"In life, I was called Sally Ann. I was a cousin to Sisters Thompson and Smith."

"Why have you been sent here?" asked the doctor.

"I have been sent to tell you that Brother Simeon will die of strychnine poisoning if you do not double your diligence."

The doctor swallowed guiltily, remembering his pride in having cured Brother Simeon. One of the earliest lessons he had learned was how pride goeth before destruction. Yet here he was falling into the same trap.

He thanked the ghost for her warning and promised to go to Brother Simeon at daybreak. Satisfied, the ghost vanished and the room was in darkness once more.

The next morning the doctor went to Brother Simeon's house and recommenced his treatment. Simeon confessed to the doctor that he had begun having trouble with his arm again, but was unsure whether or not it was serious enough to call him out. The doctor continued dosing his patient with the Thomsonian medicine until Simeon was completely well.

Brother Simeon lived for another twenty-five years in good health, for which he credited the doctor and his Thomsonian medicine. As for Sisters Thomson and Smith, they recognized the doctor's description of the ghost at once. It was their cousin Sally Ann Chamberlain from Nauvoo, who had died fourteen years before.

Ghost Month Festival

內 容
Keelung’s Zhongyuan Pudu Rites, Miaokou Nightmarket Rambles, and Sacrificial CeremoniesNo sinful deeds done in the day, no ghosts knocking on your door at night.“Prowl the dark streets at night, beware the visit of a ghostly fright.” These are familiar proverbs for people of Chinese descent. The idea of hard to see, impossible to touch bodies of ghosts fills adult and child alike with dread. The standard Chinese ghost has long hair, green face, a long white robe, and has its long tongue stuck out. They float aimlessly about, literally, in the mortal world, are nothing like the often cute ghosts of the West, who sometimes even reach out a ghostly hand to help the living. East or West, however, sometimes Cupid brings human and ghost together in love. Think of “Ghost,” with Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore, and in the East there was “A Chinese Ghost Story,” starring Leslie Cheung and Joey Wang. Both are deeply moving, though most mortals may shy away from actually falling in love with a ghost. Love talk with a ghost—certainly a queer, devilish idea. In Taiwan’s Ghost Month kindness and compassion is shown to these unseen ghostly apparitions, providing succor to the souls of ancestors and to forgotten souls. Incense, prayer, and sacrificial food/drink is offered and the safety and peace of following generations is beseeched, with the dual worlds of yin and yang living in peace with each other. The city of Keelung’s particular history of immigrant turmoil has led to the island’s grandest events during the Zhongyuan festival, also referred to as Ghost Month. The “Releasing of the Water Lanterns” is romantic and moving. The “Snatching the Flag” competition is wildly boisterous. The “Dance of Zhong Kui” the demon-catcher is exciting and a bit sinister. These make of Ghost Month a fantasia of excitement, and exposure to Taiwan’s deep wellspring of folk customs. And whether English-speaking, French, or any other language, the language of the worship and prayer seen here is universal—as long as your heart is sincere, your prayers will be answered. After all the boisterous activity, head to famed Miaokou Nightmarket to reenergize your spirits with tempura, oyster omelets, and the many other finger-licking-good local delicacies.

61109黃君富 introduction

Is there really any ghost in the world!!!?

Some body says. “There are actually no ghost in this world.. but there are devil, demon... or syaitan... which show their face in other form which is ghost... don’t believe it until u saw one. i myself saw one ghost or ufo, i don’t know, but it fly on top of my head about 15m high and circling like an eagle. it is in the night, have no wings and it is witnessed by about my entire hostel mates.. about 80 people.”
But some says ”I've had a few too many experiences with my deceased Mom and deceased Stepson that defy any other explanation...and I'll look hard for an earthly answer before determining that....I went from non-believer to BELIEVER rather quickly. They're real...i have no doubt.”
I think it the truth, because I’ve seen the ‘ghost” when I was a little child.
I don’t know what that is at that time. I just feel strange and I don’t know how to say.
After years, I talk it about my family. They think I was crazy or something else.
Maybe some scientists can improve this in the future.
